Foundation and Keep Rowlett Beautiful on December 9, 2017 to replant trees in the tornado
affected areas of Rowlett and Garland.

Consent Agenda

The following may be acted upon in one motion. A City Councilmember or a citizen may request items be
removed from the Consent Agenda for individual consideration.
7A. Consider action to approve minutes from the City Council December 19, 2017 Regular Meeting.

7C. Consider action to approve a resolution awarding the first of four one-year renewal options to
extend the agreement with Nortex Concrete Lift and Stabilization, Incorporated for pavement
leveling services in the annual amount of $125,000 through the Interlocal Cooperative Purchase
Agreement with the City of Grand Prairie and authorize the Mayor to execute the necessary
documents for said services.
7D. Consider action to approve a resolution authorizing a purchase order in the amount of
$685,000.00 to Paradigm Traffic Systems, Inc. for equipment and labor to install the Advanced
Traffic Management System (ATMS).
7E. Consider action to approve a resolution entering into an agreement with The Azimuth Group, Inc.,
to develop a strategic plan for the City of Rowlett.
7F. Consider action to approve a resolution approving Task Authorization FY18-01LEE to the
Agreement for Professional Services with Lee Engineering, LLC in the amount of $65,900.00 for
traffic signal engineering design services for the 2017 Highway Safety Improvement Program
(HSIP) grant awarded to the City from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and
authorizing the Mayor to execute the necessary documents for said services

7B. Consider action to approve a resolution approving a Local Transportation Project Advance
Funding Agreement by and between the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for a
Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) project for traffic signal improvements along State
Highway 66 (SH 66) and authorizing the Mayor to execute the necessary documents for said
services.
