Consent Agenda - 7. CONSENT AGENDA
The following may be acted upon in one motion. A City Councilmember or a citizen may request items be
removed from the Consent Agenda for individual consideration.
7A. Consider action to approve minutes from the City Council January 18, 2018 Special Meeting,
January 30, 2018 Special Joint Meeting and February 6, 2018 Regular Meeting.
7B. Consider action to approve an ordinance amending Ordinance ORD-004-18 revising the bond
issuance amounts for Propositions A, B and C and revising the ballot language for the propositions
therein to include the bond issuance costs in addition to the project costs.
7C. Consider action to approve a resolution adopting the 2018 Parks, Recreation, Open Space and
Trail Master Plan.
7E. Consider action to approve a resolution entering into an Interlocal Agreement with National
Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (“NCPA”) to allow the City to participate in the NCPA’s program
for cooperative bidding and purchasing of goods and services under competitively bid contracts.
7G. Consider action to approve a resolution accepting cooperatively bid pricing through multiple
entities and awarding a contract to authorized dealer GL Seaman & Company in the amount of
$120,320.63 for purchase of tables, chairs and seating for the Rowlett Public Library and
authorizing the City Manager to execute the necessary documents for said purchases.
7H. Consider action to approve a resolution accepting cooperatively bid pricing and awarding a
contract to Workplace Solutions in the amount of $52,837.31 for the purchase of office furniture
for the Rowlett Public Library through the interlocal cooperative purchasing agreement with
National Intergovernmental Purchasing Alliance (TCPN/NIPA) and authorizing the City Manager
to execute the necessary documents for said purchase.
7I. Consider action to approve a resolution accepting cooperatively bid pricing and awarding a
contract to Library Design Systems, Inc. in the amount of $60,584.28 for the purchase of shelving
for the Rowlett Public Library through the interlocal cooperative purchasing agreement with the
Texas Local Government Purchasing Cooperative (BuyBoard) and authorizing the City Manager
to execute the necessary documents for said purchase.
7J. Consider approving a Joint Election Contract with Dallas County Elections Department for the
May 5, 2018, Bond Election.
