Consent Agenda - (9A) Consider approving minutes from the June 24, 2008 Special Council Meeting and the July 1, 2008 Regular Council meeting. (9B) Consider approving an ordinance amending the Code of Ordinances by amending Article II ("Water") of Chapter 70 ("Utilities") to add a new Division 5, to be entitled "Cross Connection Control and Prevention", adopting Cross Connection Control and Prevention Regulations; providing a repealing clause; providing a savings
clause; providing a severability clause; providing a penalty of fine not to exceed the sum of Two Thousand ($2,000) for each offense; and providing an effective date. (9C) Consider a resolution suspending the August 8, 2008, effective date of Oncor
Electric Delivery Company requested rate change to permit the City time to study the request and to establish reasonable rates; approve cooperation with Oncor Cities Steering Committee to hire legal and consulting services and to negotiate with the Company and direct any necessary litigation and appeals.
