Consent Agenda

7A. Consider action to approve minutes from the March 7, 2017 City Council Regular Meeting.

7C. Consider action to approve a resolution calling for a public hearing on April 4, 2017, to create the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone #3 for Rowlett, Texas.

7D. Consider action to approve a resolution accepting the bid of and awarding the contract to Lawn and Landscape Management in the amount of $199,973.81 for the Dalrock Road Live Screening Wall Project.

Consider action to approve an ordinance adopting and enacting Supplement Number 16, Volumes I and II, dated March 2017, to the Code of Ordinances.

Item 8A

ITEMS FOR INDIVIDUAL CONSIDERATION

Conduct a public hearing and consider adopting an ordinance replacing Section 77-806 to amend the requirements for platting and subdivisions.

Item 8B

Consider action to approve a resolution adopting amendments to the City of Rowlett Standard Construction Details pertaining to local, state or federal regulations/guidelines and construction means and methods.

2. EXECUTIVE SESSION (4:30 P.M.) *Times listed are approximate.

2A. The City Council shall convene into Executive Session pursuant to the Texas Government Code, §551.076 (Deliberation Regarding Security Devices/Personnel) and §418.183(f) (Confidentiality of Information Relating to Emergency Response Providers) to deliberate information and receive training related to the Rowlett Police Department’s tactical plan for preventing and responding to terrorism or related criminal activity. (HELD BEFORE REGULAR WORK SESSION) (60 minutes)

2B. The City Council shall convene into Executive Session pursuant to the Texas Government Code, §551.071 (Legal Advice) to receive legal advice from the City Attorney and to discuss and deliberate a possible change order for the communications tower on Schrade Road. (30 minutes)

2C. The City Council shall convene into executive session pursuant to the Texas Government Code, §551.074 (Personnel) to deliberate on the evaluation and duties of the City Secretary. (THIS ITEM WILL BE DISCUSSED FOLLOWING THE REGULAR SESSION.) (45 minutes)
