Consent Agenda - CONSENT AGENDA
The following may be acted upon in one motion. A City Councilmember or a citizen may request
items be removed from the Consent Agenda for individual consideration.
7A. Consider action to approve minutes from the June 18, 2019 City Council meeting and
June 25, 2019 Special City Council meeting.
7B. Consider action to approve a resolution authorizing the purchase of a 2019 Chevrolet
Tahoe for use by the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit in the amount of $62,019.57
through the Houston-Galveston Area Council Purchasing Cooperative.
7D. Consider action to approve a resolution accepting the bid of and awarding a contract to
Quality Excavation, Ltd. in the amount of $411,297 and approving a ten percent (10%)
contingency amount of $41,130 and up to $2,500.00 for an early completion bonus,
resulting in a total project budget of $454,927 for the Highland Meadows Phase 2B Project,
and authorizing the Mayor to execute the necessary documents for said services.
7E. Consider action to approve a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Amendment
to the Agreement to Secure Completion of Amenity Park Improvements between the City
of Rowlett, Texas, and Bayside Residential, LLC, granting an extension to the Completion
Deadline.
7F. Consider action to approve a resolution accepting the bid of and approving an agreement
with Fitzpatrick Design Construction Services Group, LLC, in the amount of $148,000, for
project management services related to the design and construction of Fire Station #2.
7G. Consider action to approve a resolution appointing a representative to the Rockwall
County Emergency Service Cooperation Board.
7H. Consider action to approve a resolution executing a purchasing order with Century
Industries, Inc. in the amount of $196,563.00 for the purchase of a Mobile FrontRow 4500
stage.
