Consent Agenda - The following may be acted upon in one motion. A City Councilmember or a citizen may request items be removed from the Consent Agenda for individual consideration.
7A. Consider action to approve minutes from the City Council Meeting of October 16, 2018.
7B. Consider action to approve a resolution for transfer and dedication of certain utility easement parcels between the North Texas Tollway Authority and City of Rowlett regarding a portion of the Eastern Extension of the President George Bush Turnpike as depicted in Exhibit A and authorize the Mayor to execute the necessary documents for said transaction.
7C. Consider action to approve a resolution approving the City of Rowlett’s legislative priorities for the 2019 Texas Legislative Session.
7D. Consider a resolution approving Task Authorization (TA) FY19-FNI-01 to the approved professional services agreement with Freese & Nichols, Inc. (FNI) in an amount not to exceed $300,000, to serve as the City’s General Engineering Consultant (GEC) for capital projects and other engineering assigned tasks and authorizing the Mayor to execute the necessary documents for said services.
7E. Consider action to approve a resolution approving a Project Specific Agreement to the Master Agreement Governing Major Capital Transportation Improvement Projects with Dallas County for the purpose of transportation improvements along Miller Road from the west side of the Miller Road and Chiesa Road intersection to Dalrock Road and authorizing the Mayor to execute the necessary documents.
7F. Consider and ratify appointments to the Senior Advisory Board.
7G. Consider action to approve a resolution awarding the first renewal to the annual contract for concrete repairs to sidewalks, curbs, gutters and utility cuts to Austin Raymond Construction with a requested price increase of 12% in the contract price for an estimated annual amount of $470,000.00 and authorizing the Mayor to execute the necessary documents for said services.
