items be removed from the Consent Agenda for individual consideration.
7A. Consider action to approve minutes from the City Council Meetings of November 6, 2018
and November 13, 2018.
7B. Consider action to approve a resolution accepting the bid of and awarding a contract to
McMahon Contracting, LP in the amount of $3,445,762.00 with a ten percent (10%)
contingency amount of $344,576.20 and up to $15,000.00 for an early completion bonus,
resulting in a total project budget of $3,805,338.20 for the Phase 2 Dalrock Estates Paving,
Drainage, and Utility Improvement Project.
7C. Consider action to approve a resolution accepting the bid of and awarding a contract to
Quality Excavation, Ltd. in the amount of $1,820,439.50 and approving a ten percent
(10%) contingency amount of $182,043.95 and up to $15,000.00 for an early completion
bonus, resulting in a total project budget of $2,017,483.45 for the Highland Meadows
Street Reconstruction & Improvements Phase 2 Project.
7D. Consider action to approve a resolution accepting the bid of and awarding a contract to
LJ Power in the amount of $73,575 to purchase and install a generator at the City of
Rowlett Animal Shelter located at 4402 Industrial Street.
7E. Consider action to approve a resolution to authorize the City Manager to execute a
Subrecipient Grant Agreement with Life Message, Inc. in the amount of $36,909.00 for
funding of health and human services that primarily benefit low-income recipients during
the 2018-19 CDBG program year.
7F. Consider action to approve a resolution for a Maintenance Agreement between the City
of Rowlett and Terra Lago Apartments, LLC., to ensure adequate funding of maintenance
in perpetuity and replacement of right-of-way (ROW) and open space improvements.
7H. Consider and take action on a resolution granting approval of a Tree Removal Permit for
property located at 4217 Rowlett Road in the City of Rowlett, an 8.20 acre portion of
18.22+/- acres of land located in Abstract No. 332 of the Thomas Collins Survey, City of
Rowlett, Dallas County, Texas (Residences of Long Branch).
